My name is Shaina and I love math! I am currently teaching 7th grade math at a rural middle school in South Carolina. I have been teaching for a year and a half, and love (almost) every minute!
I have a B.S. in Mathematics from The University of Southern Mississippi and am currently earning my teaching certificate through SC's alternate route certification program, P.A.C.E.
I am 25 and married, with no children. I am originally from Mississippi, but have spent the past 5 years traveling with my husband's job, the USAF. He has recently left the Air Force and is pursuing a career as a pharmacist.
I am passionate about math, kids, and being the best teacher I can be! I am always looking for new, exciting, and interesting ideas to borrow for my classes (and you are welcome to borrow mine)! I hope to use this blog to share some of my ideas and get feedback on my lessons and activities from some of the awesome teachers out there :)
